This e-mail was the beginning of this project: "Dear Junichi, I am writing today to see if you might be interested in being involved in Art with Heart’s next therapeutic activity book, called “Ink About It” – created for teens dealing with hardship because of difficult family situations such as abuse, the loss of a parent, placement into foster care. You had sent me a promo in the mail several years ago and I kept it, waiting for the right project. I think this is the one! I am hand-selecting about 20 illustrators to participate in this collaborative project. I already know which page I would assign you and am ready and set to give you full instructions this week.
